Casual Country Living

Less than 200 miles from the metropolitan centres of Toronto and Hamilton lies the unspoiled area of Rainbow Country ...  Just a few hours travelling distance from the U.S. border. This region, relatively untouched by commercialism and developers is well known by naturalists for the beauty of our waters and the wildlife that thrives in our countryside.

The terrain is a mixture of jackpine and spruce forests, granite outcroppings and beaver floods and is liberally interspersed with lakes and waterways.Song birds and water fowl nest here, and blueberries, high and low bush cranberries and many varieties of wild flowers grow in profusion.

Georgian Bay contains hundreds of islands from small rocky islets to tree-covered sanctuaries many acres in size, and provides an endless variety of fishing spots, swimming holes and sheltered coves, just right for exploring, picnicking and sunbathing. The water and air are fresh and pure .. free from pollution and irritating pollens.

Each cottage is fully equipped for housekeeping; but, if you become tired of your own cooking you can arrange to have a meal at the lodge.

On the American Plan you will enjoy three home cooked meals.

We offer fishing and hunting licences at the lodge for your convenience.

A wide range of supplies can be purchased in Pointe au Baril 4 1/2 miles from Camp.

We are also just 35 minutes from a golf course and boat cruises.
